Expertise / System integrations

Connect your website, CRM and business systems.

Make data exchange a dependable part of operations. We design integrations around ownership, field mapping and recovery, so a successful API call is only one part of the job.

Discuss your integration

01 / Expertise

Find the handoff people keep repairing.

Repeated entry, mismatched statuses and missed updates often sit between otherwise useful systems. We trace one exchange from source to destination and agree what should happen when either side is unavailable.

CRM handoffs

Route enquiries and account updates with source context, required-field validation and rules for duplicate records.

Operational exchange

Plan product, order or status updates between a website and ERP, PIM or other business tools, subject to available interfaces.

External services

Connect payment, delivery and other APIs with explicit event handling, credentials and responsibility for follow-up actions.

02 / System integrations

Every field needs an owner.

We define the authoritative source, identifiers and direction of each update. Validation, safe retries and reconciliation sit alongside the connector, so the team can see what arrived and what needs attention.

  1. 01Source event
  2. 02Validate & map
  3. 03Destination update
  4. 04Confirm or retry
  5. 05Reconcile records

Design for delayed, repeated and missing events.

Duplicate protection

Use stable identifiers and operation keys where supported. Decide how repeated deliveries and conflicting updates are handled.

Failure recovery

Separate temporary errors from invalid data. Provide bounded retries and a review path for updates that cannot complete automatically.

Access and visibility

Limit credentials to the required actions, protect sensitive fields and record enough diagnostic context to investigate failed exchanges.

03 / Illustrative approach

Example approach: an enquiry-to-CRM handoff

A proposed solution, not a client case.

For a website sending enquiries to a CRM, we would validate fields, preserve the source page and use a stable request identifier. Failed deliveries would enter a visible review queue instead of disappearing.

What we would deliver

Proposed deliverable: a field map, event contract and recovery checklist. This is an illustrative scope, not a completed client project.

04 / WEBFOX

Prove one exchange before expanding it.

  1. 01

    Inspect

Review API access, sample records, limits and current manual work.

  2. 02

    Specify

Agree field mappings, ownership, update timing and conflict rules.

  3. 03

    Connect

Build and test successful, repeated, invalid and interrupted exchanges.

  4. 04

    Operate

Release with reconciliation, monitoring and a documented recovery procedure.

The interface determines the options.

Estimate follows a review of the systems and required exchanges. A documented API, a restricted export and a legacy database imply different work. Access to test environments and representative data is an early dependency.

Questions before we start

Can you integrate our CRM or ERP?

We first review the product version, available API or export interface and access permissions. Naming a system is not enough to confirm a reliable integration path.

Will updates happen in real time?

That depends on event support, rate limits and business needs. We agree an acceptable delay and choose webhooks, scheduled synchronization or a combination.

What happens if a system is offline?

The agreed design may queue updates, retry temporary failures and surface exceptions. We also define how to reconcile records after service returns.

Can data move in both directions?

Yes, where the interfaces support it, but each field still needs ownership and conflict rules. Two-way synchronization requires more than sending the same payload back.

Which systems need to exchange what?

Name the source and destination, the records involved and the problem with the current handoff. We’ll identify access requirements and a first integration scope.
